Tkachenko: 353 war crimes against Ukraine's cultural heritage documented

As of today, 353 war crimes of russians against Ukrainian cultural heritage have been documented, the Ministry of Culture and Informational Policy of Ukraine reported.

"Because of the russian army's actions, all our cultural heritage is endangered. On 20 May, they purposefully hit the Culture House in Lozova. It was one of the biggest in the Kharkiv region, and we had just recently renovated it," – the statement reads.

The Minister of Culture and Informational Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko mentioned that Ukraine's heritage is strongly connected with the ones of Europe and the world. "I won't tire to repeat that ruining of cultural heritage is a war crime under the 1954 Hague convention. Such actions are subject to severe liability," – he said.
