The satellite recorded the movement of cargo ships in the port of occupied Mariupol, which russian invaders can use to export metal and grain.

According to the photos of Planet Labs, which are available in the "Schemes", these ships have moved to the berths, where, according to the Mariupol City Council, usually ship products.

Earlier, the intention of the occupiers to take out Ukrainian property was announced by the director of the Mariupol Sea Commercial Port Igor Barsky.

According to the port administration, since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, six cargo ships under foreign flags have been in the port's waters. Two of them are Lady Augusta (Jamaica, North America) and Tzarevna (Malta). On May 24, the satellite recorded them near the berths - in particular, where the grain terminal is located.

Previously, Tzarevna was located near other berths of the port - where, according to the Mariupol City Council, metal products are usually loaded. This is evidenced by a satellite image for May 11. Lady Augusta was moored nearby.

According to the Ukrainian intelligence, russia might export the stolen grain from Ukraine through the Mediterranean Sea to Syria, and from there the cargo can be smuggled to other countries of the Middle East.

In late April, Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotsky said that russia had stolen "several hundred thousand tons" of grain in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to him, there were 1.5 million tons of grain in the occupied territories. He expressed fears that most of this grain could be stolen by the russians.
