The Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar said that Ukraine is fighting for complete liberation of territories in the internationally recognized borders.
She announced this at a briefing, the LB correspondent reports.
" There is a great liberating war of the Ukrainian people. It is the 92nd day of full-scale invasion. I would like to remind you that today 8 years ago, on May 26 2014, the first battle for Donetsk airport took place. Today the whole world knows that Donetsk airport is a symbol of the invincibility of Ukrainian soldiers. Now the story of Azovstal's defence has become one of them," she said.
Malyar stressed that these heroic actions should be a constant reminder to those who, in the fourth month of the war, once again "pull out the treacherous ideas of appeasement of the aggressor from the Munich drawers".
" We reject this powerless pacifism. Ukraine is fighting for the complete liberation of our territories in internationally recognized borders. Putin can save face by getting out of our territories," she said.
We would like to remind you that on May 23 , at the Davos Economic Forum, former US Secretary of State, historian and international relation expert Henry Kissinger said that Ukraine must give up some of its territory to Russia, while the US and the West must not expect a russian defeat in the war.
