Russian invaders want to expand a mass grave in Mariupol's "Necropolis" and are preparing to dig new ditches, the city mayor's advisor Petro Andryushchenko reported.
"To do that, russians are using our warnings about the epidemic threat and basically started "series" on a central russian TV channel by the script "we're locals, we live here, we're scared – reburials are needed". Then the expansion and preparation of new ditches for burials are reported from the site," – Andryushchenko said.
According to him, the occupiers are going to use this fact for a new informational attack on Ukraine, "blaming specifically Ukraine for mass murders and inhuman burials of the killed Mariupol citizens".
In the area near the historical cemetery "Necropolis", the fourth site of mass burial of the Mariupol citizens killed by russians has been found.
The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudnyla Denisova stated that, as a result of the hostilities, Mariupol is on the verge of epidemic and environmental catastrophe, because corpse poison can get into the city's water supply system.
