The russian authorities use issuing the russian passports to residents of the occupied part of the south of Ukraine to increase their army.

"Radio Svoboda" reported this with reference to the Head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA (Region Military Administration), Oleksandr Starukh.

"Now, people who have already received the russian passports were forced to join the russian army and used as cannon fodder to fight the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Apparently, the russians lack cannon fodder, so they are looking for idiots among those who live in the temporarily occupied territories. There can be no other explanation. Definitely, it was not done so that people could travel to Lake Baikal," - said Starukh.

He is convinced that there will be few people in the Zaporizhzhia region who want to get russian passports.

Starukh also thinks that the majority of residents of this region and the rest of Ukraine will not want to become citizens of a country that is despised and not allowed anywhere in the world.

The relatives of those who were mobilized started to protest in Donetsk, occupied by russians.
