The air reconnaissance unit of one of the UAF units is successfully using equipment received as military aid from the US in the Zaporizhia area. In particular, defenders use the "PUMA" drone (Pointer Upgraded Mission Ability).
The photos were published by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"PUMA can do what only the Bayraktar TB2 is capable of in all drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – to illuminate targets with a laser beam to aim high-precision weapons," the ministry said.
PUMA is a light unmanned aerial vehicle manufactured by an American company. These reconnaissance aircraft can be launched simply by hand. Can fly under the control of the operator and independently using GPS.
