The Ukrainian military is conducting a counteroffensive in the Kherson region in the direction of three settlements, reported the Kherson City Council on its Facebook page.
"Ukrainian troops are conducting a counteroffensive in the directions of Kiselivka, Soldatske and Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region. The village of Tavriyske is completely under Ukrainian control," the city council wrote.
The residents of the Kherson region report fighting in the area. In particular, the situation on the borders of the region and in the Beryslav district remains tense.
Russians also moved some troops from the Zaporizhia region to the Kherson region.
