A ceremony to sign an agreement on the shipment of Ukrainian grain is scheduled for 22 July in Istanbul, the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak reported.

The agreement will be signed in the presence of representatives of Ukraine, Russia, as well as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The ceremony will be held at the Dolmabahce Palace and will start at 4.30 p.m.

Information about the signing of the agreement was confirmed by the Turkish Presidential Communications Department.

The media reported the other day that at the 13 July talks in Istanbul, brokered by Turkey and the UN, representatives of Ukraine and Russia, tentatively agreed on resuming grain exports from three Black Sea ports.

The presidential office said that the talks on unblocking Ukrainian grain export routes were progressing slowly. Ukraine will not weaken the security arrangements in the Black Sea because of its distrust of Russia.
