The russian occupying troops will close occupied Mariupol, Donetsk Region, for entry and exit from Friday to Monday morning "to carry out filtration measures", Petro Andryushchenko, an adviser to the city's mayor, has said.
"Attention! Mariupol! Urgent! From 4 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday, the occupiers will close the city for entry and exit. Intensified filtration and anti-partisan activities will be carried out," he said.
Andryushchenko urged people to be careful as the occupiers may be particularly harsh as they have suffered significant losses.
"Insiders are giving the reason - a bad night for the occupiers in Berdyansk where they suddenly lost a certain number of military personnel. So, expect much and tough inside the city. Be vigilant. Don't put yourself in danger. Clear your phones. Don't step away from houses unnecessarily. Avoid the checkpoints. Help each other," he said.
The russian occupiers already closed the city for "filtration" in April. At that time, they set up special "filtration" camps within the city limits. The russians divide the men into several categories: some are immediately thrown into prisons, while others are forced to do the dirty work.
