Germany has provided Ukraine with the first three Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft systems and several thousand munitions for them, Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said on a TV marathon.
According to the minister, the systems are already in disposal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In total, the Ukrainian military is to receive 15 systems.
"Today, the first three Gepards have officially come in. These are anti-aircraft missile systems, to which we have been handed several tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition. Accordingly, we are expecting 15 systems," Reznikov said.
In addition, he noted that the Defence Ministry is negotiating with partners to provide Ukraine with modern tanks, in particular Leopard and Abrams tanks.
