The Russians have deployed more troops and military equipment at the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
On 22 August, they brought two armoured personnel carriers and six trucks to the plant's maintenance area, Energoatom said on Telegram.
At present, over 40 units of Russian heavy military equipment are deployed at the plant.
Energoatom said: "Russia is keeping 16 military vehicles near generating unit No 1 and seven vehicles near generating unit No 2. Another 12 units of military equipment are parked under the overpass."
The number of Russian troops has also increased. "Russians reinforced their troops with a considerable number of 'strong orcs', with some of them wearing masks," Energoatom said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to an IAEA expert mission to the Zaporizhzhya NPP. He informed the French President Emmanuel Macron accordingly during their telephone conversation.
