The Azov regiment has issued a statement regarding the terrorist attack on the daughter of Russian propagandist Alexander Dugin.
The regiment said on Telegram that the woman, whose name and military ID was made public by the Russian Federal Security Service in its report on the investigation into Dugina's death, had nothing to do with the regiment and had never belonged to the unit.
"The so-called document with which the Russian special services are trying to make it appear that Azov was involved in the blowing up of Darya Dugina's car is in fact nothing more than another 'business card of Yarosh' [false pretext made up by Russia]. And the attack itself is a preparation for a 'tribunal' against Azov members. This way Russia is heating up the public opinion of its citizens regarding the 'necessity' of such a trial," the regiment said.
The Azov regiment called on "everyone in whose power it is to stop this, to do everything possible to prevent the so-called 'tribunal'".
The car driven by the daughter of Putin's propagandist and ruscist ideologist Alexander Dugin, Darya Dugina, exploded in Moscow Region on the evening of 20 August.
