Seven people sustained shrapnel wounds as a result of Russian shelling of Dnipropetrovsk Region, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, has said.

Also, as a result of the shelling of the Zelenodolsk community this afternoon, a 59-year-old woman was killed. She received a shrapnel wound in her back.

The attack on Zelenodolsk damaged holiday homes, a sports complex, a kindergarten and agricultural machinery. One flat in a 5-storey building was hit by shrapnel from a rocket-propelled grenade.

Rescuers have already completed a survey of the shelling area.

The village of Koshove in the Shyroke community of Kyrvyy Rih District also came under enemy fire. No casualties have been reported.

In Nikopol and Marhanets, DTEK emergency crews resumed power supply to houses that which were cut off as a result of nighttime enemy attacks.
