Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhya Region came under massive Russian shelling which killed one local resident, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Starukh, has said on Telegram.
"The enemy has been pounding with multiple rocket launchers for several hours. Six people were wounded, including three employees of a power company repairing the grid," he said.
Starukh added that dozens of private homes and civilian infrastructure were damaged. Fires have broken out.
Orikhiv suffered from Russian fire before. In June, the enemy shelled civilian facilities there.
