Due to escalating Russian nuclear blackmail, several alarms have been introduced to indicate various types of danger, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine has said.
The chemical danger signal is now similar to the sound of church bells. The radiation danger signal is the sound of alarm bells.
The city evacuation signal sounds like a train horn. After this warning, the local radio or television should be switched on and further information should be awaited. The office said that in the case of an air-raid alert, a long, continuous siren sounds for at least 30 seconds.
