During his evening address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the conclusion of a new security agreement with Ukraine's partner state.
"We are preparing agreements, preparing agreements that will be signed this August. These include security agreements - tomorrow we will start negotiations with another European country," the President announced.
Zelenskyy also said that the preparation of visits to Ukraine by foreign leaders and the content of future negotiations is underway.
"It is extremely important for our state to ensure sustainability for years to come, and this will guarantee our greater capabilities now, this year, given the existing challenges and threats," Zelenskyy said.
An important task for Ukraine is to ensure both the Defence Forces and the state budget and social stability of Ukraine.
As of now, Ukraine has signed 25 bilateral security agreements: with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Japan, the US, the EU, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Luxembourg, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovenia.
