Two children and a woman from the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk Region were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. This was reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
"We managed to return a girl and boy from Luhansk Region to the government-controlled territory, who have already met their mother. Also, a woman returned to her native land and was reunited with her daughter," the statement reads.
The Ombudsperson's Office also met with the Russian Ombudsperson's Office, during which the two sides exchanged letters from prisoners of war on a 200-for-200 basis and discussed humanitarian issues.
