SBU drones ‘clear’ Morozovsk airfield of air defence, aviation, KABs - source

The special operation was conducted jointly with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Defence Forces.

Last night, SBU drones hit the Morozovsk airfield in Rostov Region, where Russian air defences, aircraft and warehouses with KABs were located, sources told LB.ua.

According to the source, the Ukrainian drones performed perfectly, hitting the aviation ammunition depot.

"The detonation was such that the locals did not have enough expletives to describe their impressions of the scale of the explosions. The local Russian authorities are trying to hide the attack on the military facility and say that only some warehouses are burning," the report said.

In addition to the airfield, the drones also targeted the Gubkinskaya oil depot in Belgorod Region.

The Russians reported on social media a series of explosions and fires at the oil depot, as well as the operation of air defence systems.

The special operation was carried out jointly with the DIU and the Defence Forces.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of 3 August, the Defence Forces struck the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov Region of Russia, hitting ammunition depots where guided aerial bombs were stored.
