Eight more children were returned from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Region to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine. These are five girls and three boys aged six to 17.
This was reported by the head of the RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, the children and their parents are currently safe. They are receiving the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
"I am grateful to the Save Ukraine charity organisation for their hard work to save our little residents," Prokudin wrote.
He added that since the beginning of 2024, 162 children from the left bank of the Kherson Region have been returned to the government-controlled territory.
