Curfew in Kharkiv region will begin at 21:00 on 22 August and end at 7:00 the next day, and it will be in force throughout Independence Day, the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov, has said on Telegram.
"During Independence Day, the curfew will last from 19:00 on 23 August to 07:00 on 25 August. Please be sympathetic to such events and prepare to stay at home and take shelter - it is our safety," he said.
He recalled that during the curfew, it is forbidden to be in public places or move around on foot or in vehicles.
"Stay at home and don't ignore the alarm! Independence Day is about our DNA. It is about what we have defended, are defending and will continue to defend. We will not give the enemy a chance for any provocation. So we will be as vigilant as possible on our Independence Day," he said.
Since 30 May, a curfew has been in force from 22:00 to 6:00.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Ukrainians to actively prepare for the new week, which is very important for all of us and for our state.
