EU High Representative Josep Borrell сondemned the conduction of pseudo-referendums in the occupied territories of Ukraine, his Twitter account reads.
“EU denounces holding of illegal “referenda” and their falsified outcome. This is another violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty + territorial integrity, amidst systematic abuses of human rights,” the message says.

Borrell added that the EU highly appreciates the courage of Ukrainians who continue to resist the russian invasion.
Ukraine called to strengthen sanctions against russia, provide tanks, combat aircraft and long-range artillery as a response to its sham referendums.
