Chernihiv Region will receive another large-scale assistance from France for reconstruction, the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, has said.
In the near future, the region will receive six bridges, construction materials and other humanitarian aid.
Chaus expressed gratitude for the support to the French delegation that visited Chernihiv Region today.
"Today I had the opportunity to thank the French people represented by National Assembly President Mrs. Yaël Braun-Pivet and the delegation of the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Ukraine Mr. Etienne de Poncins. I am grateful to the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, for his attention to the region," Chaus said.
He expressed hope that cooperation with French partners in the development of the region "will further evolve into powerful partnership projects".
