Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov said in a comment to Radio Liberty that he believes Iran could not independently produce Shahed-136 drones, which it supplies to Russia.
Ukrainian experts examined the components of the downed Iranian kamikaze drones and established that they were made in other countries.
"Iranians could not assemble these things on their own. There are certain components from certain countries. We are now investigating how they got there and why a country that was under sanctions managed to buy things that are 100% related to the military-industrial complex," the NSDC Secretary explained.
Although dozens of Shahed-136 were shot down and fell in Ukraine, Iran continues to claim that it did not supply drones to Russia.
