As a result of Russian missiles hitting the energy infrastructure of Dnipropetrovsk Region, there is no electricity in some areas, the head of the Military Civil Administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported.

He noted that the attack lasted more than five hours.

"Russians hit the energy infrastructure in Pavlohrad and Kamyanske districts with missiles. There are serious destructions. Many settlements were left without power supply," noted the head of the Military-Civilian Administration.

According to him, rescuers are eliminating the consequences of "arrivals", power engineers are restoring equipment and maintaining the system.

"A regime of total electricity saving is being introduced in the region so that hospitals, transport and other important social infrastructure could work," Reznichenko said.

Dnipropetrovsk Region was shelled at night with Grad, Uragan and heavy artillery, and during the day on 11 October - with cruise missiles. Air defence managed to shoot down four of them.
