On the 230th day of Russia's full-scale invasion, it continued to launch missile strikes and use attack UAVs to hit critical infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in its evening update.
During the day, Russian troops fired almost 30 cruise missiles at Ukraine, carried out seven air strikes and about 25 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.
Ukrainian air defence destroyed 32 air targets in different regions. These are 21 cruise missiles and 11 drones.
The infrastructure of more than 10 settlements in Lviv, Vinnytsya, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Donetsk regions was damaged as a result of the massive missile strike. At night, the enemy used eight Iranian strike UAVs to try and damage critical infrastructure in Mykolayiv Region.
All these "drones" were destroyed by Ukraine's air defence.
Meanwhile, riots among the mobilized continue in the Russian Federation. Thus, according to available information, more than 100 draftees at one of the training grounds of the Eastern Military District refuse to comply with any orders of the command and leave the barracks due to the low level of provision, non-compliance with sanitary standards, inadequate nutrition and lack of normal living conditions.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Mykolayivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Mayorsk and Pervomayske. The destruction of a cluster of Russian manpower and military equipment in Kherson Region was confirmed. According to available information, up to 100 occupiers and about 30 units of weapons and military equipment were destroyed.
In Zaporizhzhya Region, the Defence Forces destroyed an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, up to 10 units of military equipment and about 60 occupiers.
During the current day, the aviation of the Defence Forces struck twice at the clusters of Russian weapons and military equipment. Missile troops and artillery hit one command post, nine clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, five air defence systems and four ammunition depots.
