Russia pounded the city of Avidyivka in Donetsk Region with Grad MLRS on the morning of 12 October, the Prosecutor-General's Office of Ukraine has said.
"The projectiles hit a local market. As a result, seven local residents – six women and a man – were killed. Twelve more civilians sustained injuries of various severity. The market infrastructure, adjacent buildings and apartment blocks were damaged," it added.
The incident is being investigated for violation of the laws and customs of war.
