Air defence strengthening will be the priority of military assistance to Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated during the opening of the regular Ramstein format meeting on the defence of Ukraine, according to The Washington Post.
At the same time, Stoltenberg called on partners to provide Ukraine with more air defence equipment and systems because of Russia's massive missile attacks.
"We will discuss the ways to boost support for Ukraine, and the priority will be to strengthen Ukraine's air defence," Stoltenberg said.
NATO Secretary General called Russia's missile attacks a sign of weakness and that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is running out of alternatives.
"Ukraine has momentum and continues to progress significantly, while Russia increasingly resorts to horrific and indiscriminate attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure," Stoltenberg added.
