Russia struck a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv's Desnyanskyy district on the morning of 18 October, mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said on Telegram.
The relevant services are responding to the incident.
The Ukrainian presidential office specified that the Russian strike damaged an energy facility. The State Emergency Service urged silence.
Air defence was activated in Brovary, Kyiv Region, mayor Ihor Sapozhko has said on Telegram.
Energy facilities in Dnipro and Zhytomyr also came under Russian fire.
