Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet has said that more than 60% of educational institutions in Ukraine meet safe learning conditions.
The Ministry of Education and Science said on Facebook that joint commissions of the State Emergency Service (SES), military administrations and the National Police had inspected more than 25,000 educational institutions.
"Almost 63% of institutions meet safe conditions according to the SES standards, which take into account all safety conditions and different types of shelter," Shkarlet said.
He added that 69.4% of schools are ready for full-time or mixed education. Around 7,700 schools worked in these formats, more than 5,000 schools worked online due to the security situation.
On the night of 16 October, Russians destroyed two schools in Zaporizhzhya Region.
