As a result of the morning enemy kamikaze drone strike on 17 October, three people were killed and 19 were injured, the Presidential Office reported.
"As of now, the number of people killed in a kamikaze drone attack on a residential building has increased to three. 19 people were rescued. The work continues," the statement said.
Updated 13:48. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko added that there is a young couple among the dead, a husband and wife who were expecting a child. The woman was 6 months pregnant.
On 17 October, Russians attacked Kyiv with kamikaze drones. Explosions were heard in the Shevchenkivskyy district of the city. A fire broke out in a non-residential building. Later, two more explosions occurred in Kyiv. As a result of the attack, a residential building was hit.
