Mykhaylo Podolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office head, has accused Iran of being "responsible for the murders of Ukrainians" following a massive attack on Ukraine by Iranian-made kamikaze drones launched by the Russian army.
"Country that oppresses its own people is now giving ru-monsters weapons for mass murders in the heart of Europe. That is what unfinished business and concessions to totalitarianism mean. The case when sanctions are not enough," he argued in English on Twitter.
The head of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and interparliamentary cooperation, Oleksandr Merezhko, said that if reports about the supply of new drones and missiles are confirmed, Ukraine and other countries may raise the issue of confiscation of Iran's assets to compensate for losses due to the use of kamikaze drones on our territory. In addition, Ukraine may recognize Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism.
Meanwhile, Ukroboronprom said it was developing a strike drone in response. The Iranian Foreign Ministry denied the country transferred any drones to Russia for use in the war against Ukraine.
