Ukrainians are advancing along the northernmost line in Kherson Region. However, the Russians seem to be digging in for defence, the U.S. Department of Defence Brigadier General Pat Ryder announced at a briefing. He told reporters that it's Ukraine they should contact for comments on the defence forces' advancement.
"What we continue to see is the Ukrainians push on the northernmost axis of their three-axis approach and the Kherson region, making some gains in that regard. But as you highlight, the Russians, do appear to be digging in to defend that region,” he said.
