The Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security has called for silence on any progress in the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
"Ukrainian defenders continue to do their job and push the occupiers back, and unofficial information about the advance of our troops is already appearing on social networks. We urge you to be patient and wait for official information. Silence can save the lives of our soldiers," it said on Facebook.
Today, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the "withdrawal of troops" from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnipro.
We would like to remind you that any information about the success of the Ukrainian defence forces in liberating our land can be disseminated only after it is released by official sources, such as the General Staff and the Defence Ministry.
