Residents of Kherson and liberated settlements are asked to evacuate, as there is a high probability of Russian shelling.

The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, said: "There is a high probability of enemy shelling the right bank [of Dnipro] of Kherson Region. The Russian army, when fleeing, out of desperation begins to fight with civilians. We have seen it repeatedly in many liberated settlements," he said.

Yanushevych added that before fleeing, the Russians caused serious damage to the critical infrastructure of the region that provides electricity, heat and water supply. Therefore, it makes it difficult for people to live in the winter.

To clarify the information and sign up for evacuation, residents are asked to call the hotline at 0 800 330 951 and +38 091 481 7845.

"After evacuation, you will not be left alone with your problems. You will receive all the necessary assistance! Residents of Kherson Region, please take this as seriously as possible, take care of yourself, Ukraine needs you all!" he stressed.

Mine clearance works will be carried out in the centre of Kherson tomorrow. People were urged not to gather in crowded places because of the high intensity of mining.
