Today, December 6, Russia may launch a new missile strike, Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said on the Suspilne TV channel.
"They can repeat it today. Firstly, it is a holiday [Armed Forces Day - Ed.]. Secondly, we see such tendencies that on 10-11 October, 17-18 October they attacked one day, on the second day they attacked somewhat less, but still did," he said.
Ihnat urged Ukrainians to be prepared, keep their minds cool, and not panic. The Armed Forces will do everything to protect them.
The Air Force spokesman stressed that Ukraine needs more modern air defence systems from allies: IRIS-T and NASAMS.
Yesterday Russians staged the eighth massive missile attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. The enemy fired 70 X-101, X-555, X-22, X-59, X-31 P and Kalibr missiles at Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders shot down 61. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure facilities in Vinnytsya, Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Odesa and other regions of Ukraine were hit.
