An explosion followed by a fire occurred in the Russian city of Kursk near the airfield on Tuesday night, 6 December. The regional authorities reported a drone attack, the governor of Kursk Region Roman Starovoyt said on Telegram.
"As a result of the drone attack, an oil storage tank caught fire near the Kursk airfield," the statement said.
According to the source, no one was injured as a result of the incident. The fire is being localised and "all special services" are working at the scene.
Yesterday the Russian army launched 70 X-101, X-555, X-22, X-59, X-31 P and Kalibr missiles at the territory of Ukraine. In total, the Air Defence units of Ukraine destroyed more than 60 missiles of the occupiers.
