The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Olena Bohdan from the post of head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience, the government representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, has said on Telegram.
The press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy noted that the prime minister and ministers made "a number of reservations" about Bohdan's activities. Therefore, following the discussion, it was decided to dismiss her.
In addition, the State Service for Ethnic Policy was made directly subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers.
Previously, the activities of the service were coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers through the minister of culture and information policy.
According to LB.ua sources, it is likely that the institution will be headed by a former MP, an adviser to former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Viktor Yelenskyy.
