On the evening of 6 December, Russian occupational forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk Region with kamikaze drones, heavy artillery and Uragans (Hurricanes), the Head of the Regional Military Administration (RMA) Valentyn Reznichenko said on Telegram.
"The servicemen of the East Air Command did a great job. They shot down all eight enemy drones that the attackers sent to the region. Preliminary, they were Shahed-136," he wrote.
Reznichenko also noted Nikopol District experienced another challenging night of terror - Russians struck seven times with Uragan and heavy artillery at two communities - Marhanetska and Nikopolska. People were not injured.
Nikopol suffered the most. Up to 10 private houses, outbuildings and gas pipelines were destroyed in the town. Russian shells also damaged several shops, office buildings and a college.
In other districts, there were no hits, and it is currently quiet.
