As of the evening of 6 December, water supply and sewerage services have been restored in Odesa, mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov has said on Telegram.
"Water supply and sewerage services have been restored throughout the city. During the day, in those areas where there was no water, it was provided by municipal vehicles," Trukhanov said.
As for heating, according to the mayor, 11 district and neighbourhood boiler houses, as well as Odesa CHP, are operating normally. Already 88% of subscribers (more than 600,000 residents) have central heating.
Trukhanov added that municipal equipment was sent to help DTEK and Ukrenergo power engineers who are restoring electricity supply to all districts of the city.
On the morning of 6 December, most of Odesa already had water supply resumed.
Yesterday's massive Russian missile strike on Odesa Region damaged its energy infrastructure. Due to the shutdown of equipment, Odesa was left without water supply and heating.
