China does not supply Russia with anything but household goods, and Iran did not transfer ballistic missiles that Russia wants to receive either, the head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Maj-Gen Kyrylo Budanov, has said on the air of the national telethon, Liga reports.

According to him, to date, Iran has not supplied Russia with any ballistic missiles, the transfer of which was expected earlier.

He noted that China does not provide military assistance to Russia either.

"Nothing special has been delivered from China, except for a huge number of washing machines, TV sets and other household appliances," Budanov said.

According to the Defense Express website, the number of cargo flights from China to Russia tripled in November compared to October. There could be military items on board.

China has generally declared its "neutral" position on Russia's war against Ukraine. Chinese officials regularly call for negotiations that they believe may end the war.
