About 3.4 thousand Ukrainian military and civilians are in Russian captivity. At least 15,000 people have been reported missing since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Presidentʼs Commissioner for Ensuring the Rights of Ukrainian Defenders Alyona Verbytskatold Suspilne.

She clarified the data provided by the Centre for Strategic Communication on 3.4 thousand captured military, stressing that the number includes civilians.

"15 thousand - citizens of Ukraine reported missing (military and civilian), 3.4 thousand - confirmed by Russia in captivity (military and civilian)," she said.

Ukraine and Russia conducted the previous exchange of prisoners on 31 December. 140 defenders and a dog stolen from Azovstal returned home.

The Ukrainian side has repeatedly stressed that it is ready to exchange all for all.
