Supermarket chains NOVUS, Auchan and VARUS are removing Bonduelle products from their shelves over the French vegetable-processing company's support for Russian troops, the National Agency for Preventing Corruption has sad.
"A few days ago, the NAPC called for sanctions against the company sponsoring the war. Thus, supermarket chains NOVUS, Auchan and VARUS are already removing Bonduelle products from their shelves," the statement reads.
The NAPC recalled that one of the most famous manufacturers of canned vegetables provides the occupying forces of the Russian Federation with its products. According to information from open sources, the occupiers received festives baskets with Bonduelle products and "wishes to return with victory".
It is also known that Bonduelle does not plan to leave the Russian market and continues to pay taxes, fees and other contributions to the Russian budget, thereby financing the war against Ukraine.
