Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression, the Security Service of Ukraine has been investigating more than 1,500 criminal proceedings on the facts of treason and espionage. More than 340 of them have been sent to court, the SBU said on Telegram.

It is noted that during this period, the SBU exposed more than 600 Russian agents and spies who conducted reconnaissance and subversive activities against Ukraine.

Thus, as a result of a multi-stage special operation, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of Russian military intelligence was detained. The Rusisian agents were preparing for the physical liquidation of the defence minister and the military intelligence chief, as well as a well-known Ukrainian activist.

In Kyiv, the SBU neutralized a Russian agent group, which included officials of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine. The officials passed to the enemy intelligence on the arrangement of the state border and personal data of Ukrainian law enforcement officers.

The former head of Mykolaiv District Prosecutor's Office, who after 24 February 2022 voluntarily offered his assistance to the enemy in the war against Ukraine, was exposed in Mykolayiv. Being in office, the offender passed to Russian special services information about the results of enemy shelling, passwords at checkpoints and information about Russian military prisoners.

In Khmelnytskyy, the SBU detained a spy, who was a Russian citizen who arrived in Ukraine in January 2022 to conduct reconnaissance and subversive activities against our state. His was allegedly visiting relatives, according to his "legend". The real task was to create an extensive agent network to collect intelligence and conduct sabotage in the western regions of our country.

Another spy was neutralized in Volyn Region. He was a citizen of Belarus, who collected information on the deployment and movement of the Armed Forces units in the region.
