Engineers are mining the paths of possible advance of Russian troops in the north of Kyiv Region, the commander of the Kyiv group of forces and means of defence, Lt-Gen Oleksandr Pavlyuk has said on Telegram.
"Engineer units are primarily mining tank-accessible areas of the terrain and the ways of the enemy's possible advance: roads, forest strips, power lines, etc.," he said.
He clarified that the mining is carried out in order to prevent Russia from quickly wedging the combat ranks of the units for further inflicting fire damage by artillery.
