Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on a visit to Kharkiv that Germany would allocate money to Ukraine for the purchase of Starlink terminals, the press service of the German Foreign Ministry has said.
Germany will provide 20 million euros for the purchase of Starlink terminals, enabling the purchase of 10,000 ground stations.
One third of the terminals will be used by the Armed Forces.
"Real-time communication allows Ukrainian soldiers to coordinate the defence of the homeland and better defend against Russian attacks," the German Foreign Ministry stressed.
