The director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, will come to Ukraine on a visit, in particular, to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, RaiNews24 has reported.
"I will be in Ukraine next week," he said.
Grossi added that he would meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. In particular, he plans to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which is under Russian occupation.
"Negotiations (between Kyiv and Moscow - ed.) continue, it is important for me to protect this plant. This agreement is not impossible because a nuclear disaster is in no-one's interest, not even the Russians," Grossi said.
