Ukraine's air defence shot down 25 Russian missiles today, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy has said.
"Today the enemy launched massive missile strikes on our territory. In the morning, the capital was attacked by S-400 (S-300) anti-aircraft guided missiles from the northern direction. Later, the terrorist state used high-precision weapons – air-launched cruise missiles Kh-101 / Kh-555, Kh-22, sea-launched cruise missiles Kalibr, guided aircraft missiles Kh-59 – against critical infrastructure of Ukraine," said Zaluzhnyy.
According to the updated information as of 18:30, Russia carried out about 28 launches of cruise missiles from various launch sites and 10 launches of guided air-launched missiles.
The Ukrainian Air Force in cooperation with other units of the Defence Forces destroyed 18 cruise missiles and seven guided air-launched missiles.
