The Defence Ministry has held consultations with a delegation of the US company AeroVironment on the supply of weapons for the needs of the Armed Forces.
AeroVironment manufactures barrage munitions and strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
Deputy Defence Ministers Volodymyr Havrylov and Denys Sharapov met company representatives Charles Dean and Brett Hash to discuss the company's cooperation with Ukrainian arms and military equipment manufacturers.
According to the Defence Ministry's press service, fruitful cooperation is expected on other types of AeroVironment UAVs.
"After 24 February 2022, we are improving our work every day to help Ukraine. We support Ukraine in this war. We are ready to work with the Ministry of Defence and Ukrainian weapons manufacturers in the framework of providing logistical assistance, as well as through other programmes between our countries," said AeroVironment Vice President Charles Dean.
Earlier, the US Department of Defense contracted Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones manufactured by AeroVironment for Ukraine.
Last April, the company announced that it would provide Ukraine with 100 Quantix Recon drones and provide training services to the Ministry of Defence and the Territorial Defence Forces.
