President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on Telegram that he was on a working visit to Mykolayiv Region. The Head of State held a meeting on the current situation in the region.
“We discussed the operational situation in the south of Ukraine, the consequences of Russia's missile and drone attacks. We also reviewed the state of the region's energy infrastructure, the means of its protection and the pace of recovery,” the message reads.
Zelenskyy added that they also discussed the reconstruction of educational institutions in the Mykolaiv region, the long-term recovery of the region's economy and the creation of new jobs.
In one of Mykolayiv's hospitals, the President and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen visited wounded Ukrainian defenders.
“It is important for our warriors to be able to undergo not only physical, but also psychological rehabilitation. I am grateful to all the medical workers who care about the health of our defenders. I wish them a speedy recovery,” the Head of State said.
