From the beginning of the full-scale invasion to 6 February, 16,222 children have been deported from Ukraine, and 350 children are reported missing, the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine reports on Facebook.
"Information according to the Children of War state portal for child tracing as of 6 February 2023: 350 children are missing, 16,222 are deported, and 9,510 have been found," the Ombudsman's Office informed.
Among others, occupiers are reportedly forcing residents of Starobilsk, Luhansk Region, to give their children away for "proper patriotic education."
